Hello, my name is Carlos Bolorin and I attend Rush Henrietta Senior High School.
I am a 16 year old Junior, who will be turning 17 next month on the 4th. Sports are a big part of my life and I play football, and baseball for Rush Henrietta and basketball for Good Shepard. My favorite teams consist of the New York Jets, The New York Yankees and The New York Knicks. I am very into playing poker online or with my friends, and playing Call of Duty. My future plans from high school is to go to college to play baseball, while majoring either in business or journalism.
My Blogs will consist of news and information about the New York Jets, and I will be reflecting on their season of the 2009-2010 season.
This season was a great season for the New York Jets. Even though many people, and fans had their doubt on their stud rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez, the Jets had a great season and made the playoffs for the first time since 2004.
The Jets started the season 3-0 with a big win against their division rival the New England Patriots. All of a sudden the Jets came from being a team with no respect to a well respected team. People were now jumping on the Mark Sanchez bandwagon and finally believed in him.
But after that 3-0 start the Jets lost 3 straight close games, including to the rival Dolphins and Bills. Yet again the New York people had their doubts.
The season quickly turned around in week 7 after the Jets pounded the Oakland Raiders, 38-0. But next week brought another defeat by the Dolphins, so now the Jets were 1-3 in the division. But the Jets recovered and took the bye in week 9 and improved their defense and rushing attack and ended the season winning 6 of their last 8 games, finishing 2-4 in their division and made the playoffs in the last week of the season against the Cincinatti Bengals.
